Brian Walshe sentenced to life for wife Ana’s murder.
Brian Walshe, a Massachusetts man convicted of killing and dismembering his wife, Ana, was sentenced Thursday to life in prison, plus an additional 22 years.
Walshe had previously entered a surprise guilty plea to charges of lying to police and unlawfully disposing of a body during jury selection. The judge sentenced him on all three convictions at the same hearing. Judge Diane Freniere credited Walshe with roughly 1,000 days already served.
Prosecutors also presented evidence of a series of incriminating internet searches Walshe made on Jan. 1, 2023, including queries such as “how long for someone to be missing to inherit,” “best way to dispose of a body,” and “best way to dispose of body parts after a murder.”
If you want this more victim-centered, tighter, or less graphic, I can adjust the tone.
